A short story for those who are not aware of what´s happening
What Do They Want?
Money.
Sex.
Access.
Patronage.
Power.
Over the course of human history, the former four things have been used by men and women to gain the latter. The giving, taking away, or making it known that one’s behavior can affect the giving or taking away of these things, make up the machinations of power. But where does this power lie? With presidents, billionaires, celebrities and royalty? With intellectuals, entertainers, media titans or businessmen? Is that power earned or given? Who is really in charge?
Some people claim that the unfolding of world events is not merely the aggregate of random individual actions, but a specific predetermined plan, enacted by a small group of unelected power brokers, acting behind closed doors and answerable to no one. Could that be the reality? That’s the claim that dogs an organization called the Bilderberg Group, a shadowy secret society born in the ashes of World War II. Its membership is a fiercely guarded secret and its mission unknown to all but its initiated followers. There is evidence that it’s been involved in choosing international leaders, manipulating the global economy and pressing for a unified world government. Some believe its overarching goal is even more insidious: the complete enslavement of the world's countries and wholesale slaughter of most of the global population.
The Birth of Bilderberg
From May 29 to May 31, 1954, the very first meeting of the Bilderberg Group was held in the structure from which its name is derived, the Hotel de Bilderberg, near Arnhem in the Netherlands. Initiated by Polish political advisor Józef Retinger, the Group's professed inaugural aim was to combat growing anti-Americanism and to forestall the future growth of any political entity that could threaten the world, as Nazi Germany had done so recently. The Group was promoted by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands; the head of multinational food, beverage and cosmetics producer Unilever, Paul Rijkens; and in the United States by Walter Bedell Smith, then head of the CIA. Fifty delegates from 11 Western European countries attended the first conference along with 11 Americans. Like Noah's Ark, the goal of the Group was to have one liberal and one conservative attendee from each participating country, so that a broad political spectrum would be represented.
The first Bilderberg Group discussed the issues of the day—the rise of Communism, the rebuilding of Europe and how a future world war might be avoided. The meeting was thought so successful that Retinger, now acting as permanent Secretary, decided the Group should gather annually.
Each year, about 130 guests converge on a different location to participate in the Bilderberg Group. The list of past attendees is the crème de la crème of international politics, industry, media and energy. Former Presidents Bill Clinton and Gerald Ford attended in 1991 and 1996, respectively. Other attendees have included Senators Sam Nunn and John Edwards; Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice; Prime Ministers Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair; the King of Spain and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands; editors from The New York Times and Washington Post; Bill Gates; the heads of IBM, BP, Shell Oil and Barclays Bank; and Ben Bernake, Chairman of the Federal Reserve.
The food is rumored to be spectacular.
The Bilderberg Group issues no official press releases, has no website and does not comment on its past or present attendees. The media is not invited to any of its meetings and even though minutes are recorded, they are strictly confidential. All proceedings take place according to Chatham House rules, a measure which provides anonymity to speakers even within the confidential meeting minutes.
A One-World Government
The Selection of Future World Leaders
The Bilderberg Group has had a constellation of different political and business superstars attend its conferences, and many attendees enter as little-known neophytes and leave as widely acclaimed leaders of tomorrow. Many conspiracy theorists allege that it is the Bilderberg Group itself that selects who will be the world leaders of tomorrow, thus grooming their respective governments for easy assimilation.
When Bill Clinton attended the Bilderberg conference in Germany in 1991, he was an unknown governor from one of the smallest American states. Suddenly, in roughly one year's time, he was elected President of the United States. Likewise, Tony Blair—a little-known Parliament backbencher when he was first a guest of the Group in Athens in 1993—in just one year's time became the leader of his Labour party, then became Prime Minister three years after that. And the pattern is repeated time and again: Margaret Thatcher attended little more than three years before becoming Prime Minister. John Edwards was an attendee mere months before he was selected to run as the Democratic nominee for Vice President in 2004. And just seven days after addressing the Group in 2009, Herman Van Rompuy was chosen unanimously to become the first full-time President of the European Council.
How is it that so many fledgling politicians enter into the web of the Bilderberg Group and suddenly find themselves at the highest levels of government?
Follow the Money
Given that the Bilderberg Group has had, at the very least, an uncanny talent for prescient political picks, is there a danger that its backroom dealings may be corrupting the democratic political systems in the U.S., U.K. and elsewhere? If some type of mole, double-agent or Manchurian candidate can be set up via the influence of the Bilderberg Group, the consequences could be, or potentially already have been, disastrous.
Indeed, it may have already exerted its political will against the wishes of the masses. Adoption of the Euro, the pan-European currency, had been a dream of the Bilderberg Group since its first meeting. A single currency could make world markets easier to control and, some fear, easier to manipulate. Finally, in 1999, after much wrangling and debating, the Euro was introduced, a direct result of work done by the Bilderberg Group, admits Étienne Davignon, the current chairman of the Group. And some allege that the Iraq War was born out of a mini Bilderberg conference in Chantilly, VA, in May of 2002—the heads of industry were salivating over both the Iraqi oil fields and the new contracts that an occupied country would require. (While Davignon did touch on the Iraq issue in a BBC interview, it was simply to mention that Bilderberg meetings had served as a forum to reconcile the differences between the countries who supported the war and those who didn’t.) And there have been whispers that the Group was responsible for the energy crisis of the 1970s, demanding that the price of oil be increased. It already boasts heads of states and the CEOs of multinational oil companies at its meetings; how hard would it be for it to make oil prices skyrocket with only a nod of its collective head?
But what if this league of all-powerful elites was not satisfied with manipulating only our money and energy? What if the Bilderberg Group had an even more nefarious goal? [Watch Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura on truTV]
“A One-World Government”
Journalist Jon Ronsen claims that, after much persistence and dedication, he was able to finally wring the truth from one of the original Bilderbergians. He spoke to Denis Healy, an old British parliamentarian and former British Secretary of Defense, who informed him “to say that we were striving for a one-world government is exaggerated, but not wholly unfair.”
If the aim of the Bilderberg Group is to control the people of the world under the aegis of a single government, how could they best affect this takeover of sovereignty? Wouldn't the average citizens of each country rise up against any outside control of their land? Rich and powerful though the Group may be, how did it plan to even the odds of 130-some elites versus nearly six billion ordinary men and women trying to live free?
Population Control Bilderberg Style
Watch What You Eat
A clue might be found in the food that companies believed by some to have ties with the Bilderberg Group—Heinz, Knorr, SlimFast and Best Foods, among others—produce. Dr. Stanley Monteith, an expert on world food supply, points to the vast amounts of man-made chemicals in the food on our local grocery-store shelves, aspartame for example. Dr. Monteith explains: “Aspartame is a chemical made up of aspartic acid and phenylalanine. And it breaks down into formaldehyde, eventually into wood alcohol. It produces all sorts of problems, mental problems, and it impacts on literally every organ in the body. They know this, there are extensive animal studies that show this, and it never should’ve been put into our food.” The FDA, which some believe is colluding with big business, states that an average-sized person can safely metabolize the formaldehyde and other chemicals in aspartame unless he exceeds the acceptable daily intake set at approximately 21 cans of diet soda.
Even the water from our taps could be used as a weapon by the Bilderberg Group. Dr. Monteith reveals that the government “fluoridates the water in about 68% of our cities. And 90% of them use something called hydrofluorosilic acid, which is a product they get out of the chimneys of plants that produce fertilizer. Hydrofluorosilic acid is so toxic that you can’t put it into a toxic dump without paying a great deal of money. They will not allow you to put it into a river because it contaminates the river. So they put it into our drinking water to poison our people. And they know what they're doing because fluoride limits fertility, just as aspartame limits fertility. It's part of population control.”
Population control could be the best way for the Bilderberg Group to gain control of the globe—a smaller population is a more easily led population, with a reduced chance that a rebellion or revolution could thwart the aims of the Group.
The Poison in Our Veins?
Do you really know what is in a vaccine?
(Reuters/Landov)
But it's not just our food that the Bilderberg Group may have thought to use as population control. Conspiracy buff Alex Jones may not have the high profile that comes with repeatedly posing nude in Playboy magazine, like noted anti-vaccine activist Jenny McCarthy, but regardless, he believes that vaccines could be the vessels through which the Group might thin the human herd. Jones says the Bilderberg Group wants “a planetary dictatorship so they can carry out their forced depopulation agenda, and they want to do it through the medical system. And that’s why vaccines are so important. We know that many of these vaccines turn out to have serious adverse reactions and this is being done by design. They kill you slowly over time. That’s why they’re called 'soft kill.'”
Jones offered no evidence of this alleged plot and the Bilderberg Group has a policy of not commenting to the press. So it’s hard to tell if Jones’s claim is mere speculation or has a basis in fact. However, Dr. Rima Laibow, a physician who actually treated a member of the Bilderberg Group and was privy to some of its darkest secrets, concurs with Jones' warnings about vaccines: “In a very short time, not today, not tomorrow, but very soon, we’ll be facing compulsory vaccination under the mistaken term of ‘voluntary vaccination.’”
Dr. Laibow points to the dangers of squalene, an organic compound used in vaccines to stimulate the immune system and increase the response: “If I inject you with squalene, your immune system will start to attack the squalene but then start attacking all of the parts of your body. What does that look like when you meet a person to whom that is happening? It looks like Gulf War Syndrome. It looks like every joint in the body is swollen and intolerably painful and immobilized.” Although studies have shown that squalene, aspartame and fluoride are harmless (except for people with rare, genetic anomalies), Dr. Laibow claims that those whom the squalene doesn't outright immobilize or kill would be rendered infertile, just as through aspartame and fluoride.
The Potential for Abuse of Power
Although proof of some of these more scandalous activities is elusive, we certainly should be wary of any organization that has such strong connections to the centers of power, operates in the shadows and gives the ordinary person no voice. Certainly, the potential for abuse of power is inherent in the membership, structure, secrecy and modus operandi of the Bilderberg Group. It is a highly select, intensely elite coterie of the masters of politics and industry. Its annual meetings are secret. There are no records kept. There are no tallies made. It is accountable to no one. And there is no way to ensure responsibility for its actions. This is an assemblage during which ideas and inventions with global ramifications are considered, and the average person has no way of ensuring that his voice is heard. Yesterday, it was a fight to force a single currency upon a continent. Tomorrow, who can say what the Bilderberg Group may want—and we have no way of finding out.
